The next A.D.O.B.E. meeting of the fall season is Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Best Western, 7:00PM. The feature speaker is Debra S. Becker, Recreation, Lands & Wilderness who will present information about maintaining our wilderness area, recreation, hiking trails and land management. She will also talk about issues concerning the Tonto National Forest. Be sure to join us for this interesting meeting.The A.D.O.B.E. meeting is open to the public.The Gold Canyon Ledger is requesting articles of 300-500 words from the general public. Articles must be computer typed and submitted through email. All articles are subject to editing and may be held over for future printing because of space availability. Articles requested are; local concerns, historical, feature, interview profile, current events or nostalgia. DEADLINE: is noon on the 15th day of the month prior to publication.
